Edificio Elever, developed by Grupo Insur in Madrid’s Las Tablas district, has been conceived as a new benchmark for sustainability, comfort, and human-centered architecture. The complex aims to achieve LEED Platinum, WELL Platinum, and WiredScore Gold certifications, reflecting a strong commitment to environmental excellence and occupant wellbeing. To comply with the WELL Building Standard and ensure optimal indoor air quality (IAQ) throughout its 9,990 m² of office space, the project required a continuous, reliable, and verifiable monitoring system capable of supporting performance verification and providing full transparency of environmental conditions over time.
inBiot implemented a comprehensive IAQ monitoring system to support WELL Performance Verification and ensure compliance with the WELL Building Standard.
- 21 × MICA WELL units installed across office floors and shared areas to measure CO₂, PM₂.₅, TVOCs, temperature, and humidity in line with the WELL Performance Verification Guidebook.
- WiFi connectivity with secure cloud integration through the My inBiot platform for real-time data visualization, analytics, and automated WELL reports.
- Custom dashboards and alerts tailored to WELL parameters, enabling efficient performance tracking and documentation.
- Open API available for future integration with the building’s BMS.
The main challenge was ensuring stable WiFi connectivity across several floors with different occupancy conditions. Continuous coordination between inBiot and EFE Control was key to guaranteeing optimal device placement and reliable data transmission.

Continuous monitoring provides measurable advantages, offering up to 10+ additional WELL points compared to single-time testing.
All MICA WELL devices are Works with WELL® and RESET® Air certified, ensuring full alignment with IWBI standards and the WELL Performance Verification Guidebook requirements for accuracy, traceability, and compliance.
